Ist Pazifismus (noch) zeitgemäß?

Am 8. Mai jährt sich das Ende des 2. Weltkriegs zum 80. Mal.
Wir hatten gehofft, dass sich Europa nach den Schrecken des 2. Weltkriegs endgültig für den Weg des friedlichen Miteinanders entschieden hat und damit auch die Welt eine friedlichere werden würde. Und nun: Wieder Krieg in Europa, der Amerikanische Präsident erhebt Ansprüche auf Grönland und Kanada, China blickt immer aggressiver auf Taiwan, im Nahen Osten eskaliert die Gewalt, der Afrikanische Kontinent leidet unter Bürgerkriegen, Deutschland liefert Waffen in Kriegsgebiete, es gibt viel Geld für die Bundeswehr und es wird über die Wiedereinführung der Wehrpflicht diskutiert.
Viele Menschen fragen sich aktuell, was ist der richtige Weg? Frieden schaffen ohne Waffen oder doch sichern durch eine wehrhafte Demokratie? Wie gehe ich persönlich mit meinem Pazifismus in Anbetracht des Überfalls auf die Ukraine um? Welche Botschaft wollen wir unseren Kindern mitgeben? Diese und ähnliche Fragen sind heute nicht mehr so leicht zu beantworten, wie noch vor 10 oder 20 Jahren. Und doch müssen wir uns damit auseinandersetzen.
Nordbahngemeinden mit Courage e.V. hat drei Journalisten eingeladen, die sich in der letzten Zeit mit dem Thema beschäftigt und unterschiedliche Positionen herausgearbeitet haben. Sie werden mit kurzen Impulsvorträgen in das Thema einführen, um danach mit den Zuschauenden ins Gespräch zu kommen.
